The pet industry in the United States is expected to generate over 143 billion dollars in 2023. Yes, you read that correctly. What’s more, as the chart below illustrates, the pet industry has continued to expand regardless of economic downturns, pandemics etc.
Pet industry growth and size is relevant because it speaks to potential opportunities. For example; there are more than 80 million dogs and over 60 million cats kept as pets in the United States. Add over 20,000 veterinary hospitals, 15,000+ grooming salons and over 140 million fish kept in aquariums in the US, and you can see how much potential pet industry skills translate into.
Different reasons. First, all of our students are animal lovers who are fascinated by them and want to be involved in working with and helping them. Some students are looking for skills and knowledge that will allow them to gain part-time employment or start side businesses. If this is you, consider our Dog Trainer, Cat Trainer, Aquarium Maintenance, and Pet Groomer programs.
Other students are looking to turn their passion into a full-time career. Consider our Dog Trainer, Cat Trainer, Veterinary Assistant, Aquarium Maintenance, and Pet Groomer programs if this is you.
Still, other students aren’t sure if they want to take the knowledge and skills they learn in our programs and monetize them. Instead, they want to volunteer everywhere, from animal shelters and rescues to zoos and exotic animal sanctuaries. If this is you, any of the above programs could help you on this path.
Finally, some students want to take our programs because it will allow them to take their hobby to a more advanced level.
